Our story so far.....
HRRCC is built on 3 generations of Passion, Knowledge & Experience, totalling 120+ years in total between Us, of Buying, Selling, Building, Racing & generally tinkering in the Trade with Motors.....
There was Grandpa with his Dealership in the 70's selling Mini's (they profuse he was a Chum of John Cooper....what else could he sell!). He was the quintessential suave, tall & imposing Gentleman Businessman of the era...a bit of a Dandy...Champagne swilling, hob-nobbing at Motor shows, driving fast cars & in His later Years, luxurious vehicles...oh...& money were my Grandpa's passions! Very much 'The Terry Thomas Type' ..!!
Then there was dear Father, with his superior mechanical knowledge, surfacing in his XK & A-series Race engine tuning work. Success built on Fathers meticulous attention to detail and his ferocious passion for Racing his beloved E-type & Mk2. It was a tough upbringing, spending most of my early years in a boiler suit in the pits with spanners and Racing fuel....now Father was more of the Nigel Mansell type.....quiet and confident, with the style of the wonderful Graham Hill

.And then to myself....rather large boots to fill, one might say! However, with my own inimitable style, I'm not one to follow suit, I chose my Motor Trade path from a different angle. The early '90's I started in Business after training at Range Rover. I swiftly found that my talents predominantly were in the preparation and presentation of vehicles.
Valeting was the new buzz word, so I & eventually nearly 50 staff spent over a decade looking after cars with Royal connections, Film Vehicles at Pinewood, Shepperton & Leavesden, Famous Music guru's vehicles and Multi-Millionaires collections - to include the Owner of REDBULL - whilst Building My own versions of Mini's & BMW's (aged 16, I built My 1st car - a 1980 Mini 850).
As the New Millennium had been & gone, I realised the next chapter & My future adventures were to be wholeheartedly following in the family traditions. Building cars, racing and hob-nobbing! ! Having been described as a cross between James Hunt and 'Toad of Toad Hall' on all angles, I guess I'm succeeding...
